Join now and become a founder of The Orange Garden
In memory of Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas, and in memory of all the children of October 7.
After two and a half years of pain, upheaval, and struggle, an initiative arrives that brings a new message to Israel — a place of life, healing, and hope.
We are setting out to build The Orange Garden — the first space of its kind in Israel, connecting memory, nature, children, and healing.
Across 20 dunams, a living space of nature, water, play, family, and healing will be built — open to everyone.
A place where children will run and play, where families will gather together, and where people can pause for a moment, breathe, and reconnect.
A place that will also include a dignified memorial space for all the children of October 7 — to remember through life, light, and love.
For all the children of Israel 🧡 — for the healing of us all.
So that the garden can realize its full potential — we need you, the citizens of Israel.

What awaits us in the Orange Garden?
The Orange Garden is being built in Migdal HaEmek, near the "Ariel" and "Kfir" kindergartens currently under construction. A garden every family in Israel will be able to reach — to breathe, connect, remember, and feel that together we are all building something new.
The Orange Garden will host an innovative space, the first of its kind in Israel, combining nature, play, healing, and memory:
- 🌿 Therapeutic-community gardening complex — a space of healing through nature and soil for combat trauma survivors, the elderly, people with special needs, at-risk youth, and communities in need of renewal.
- 🍊 Fruit orchards and groves — walking among fruit trees, scents, and greenery, inspired by the fruits Shiri and Ariel loved.
- 💧 The ecological stream — a flowing stream that accompanies visitors along the garden, with small wooden bridges, living water, and a calming walking experience.
- 🌱 A memorial space for all the children of October 7 — a dignified, light-filled corner, in memory of the children taken from our world.
- 🧡 The Orange Omega and play structures — because children's laughter is the strongest answer to pain.
- 🌟 The Wishing Wall — a place where every child in Israel can leave a wish, a prayer, a hope, or a dream.
- 👨👩👧 Family picnic areas — green, inviting meeting spots for creating new memories under the open sky.
- 🎭 An amphitheater, outdoor classrooms, and cultural spaces — a place for gatherings, performances, and educational and community activity.
- 📚 An outdoor library and inspiration space — shaded seating areas with children's books, craft tables, and a place for the imagination to grow.
And that is only part of what is planned.
The whole garden will combine water, agricultural terraces, walking paths, natural play spaces, orchards, and family corners — the experience of walking through a living, healing landscape of the Land of Israel.
It will be a place where an entire people can come, touch the soil, breathe anew, and feel that there is light after the rupture.
A national project of love, responsibility, and hope
This is our opportunity to leave a mark for generations.
The project is an initiative of the Venatata NGO, together with the Bibas family, the Migdal HaEmek municipality, and designed by the Izzy Blank landscape architecture firm.

The land is already waiting. Now it depends on us.
The Migdal HaEmek municipality has donated the land and committed to ongoing maintenance. The plans are ready. Now we need you to turn this ground into a garden of life.
Every donation directly supports building the garden: every tree, every path, every corner that is built — will happen only thanks to you. Let us build together a place where pain turns into the healing of an entire nation.
Donate now and become a partner in building the garden.
In their memory — for the sake of us all 🧡
"When we saw the garden plans, we just started crying"
When Ofri Bibas first saw the garden's plan, she could not hold back the tears.
Ofri spoke about what reminds her most of Shiri and the children: Shabbat picnics. A family sitting together.
And about one image she cannot stop imagining — Ariel running among the trees, running to the water, climbing, enjoying everything the garden has to offer.

There are dreams that will not come true for them. But we can fulfill them through the children of Israel and the generations to come 🧡

About Venatata
The Venatata NGO, which leads the project, is a national environmental movement for healing Israeli society through nature and connection to the land. The NGO builds hundreds of therapeutic gardens in rehabilitation, education, and welfare institutions, and plants thousands of trees across the country.
Since October 7, the NGO has launched the "Adamot Bracha" project to build hundreds of community healing spaces through nature in the Gaza-envelope communities, the north, and at the heart of communities harmed by the war. The NGO operates on the model: Person — Land — Community (Adam — Adama — Kehila) — all of its projects always connect person to person and person to land, out of a deep understanding that healing a person in crisis is directly tied to healing and rehabilitating the community and environment they are part of.
The NGO is the winner of the Israel Earth Prize for 2023, for its positive impact on the environment and society in Israel.
The Orange Garden project is carried out in full cooperation with the Migdal HaEmek municipality and the Bibas family.
